Mary Céé, another collaboration

I had a go at colorising Mary Cée, Nziem's wonderful character. You can see another versions of Mary Cée on Dine & Sialy's blogs. This was fun, but hard! Once again I slightly modified the original sketch (with Nziem's permission) to suit the style I wanted to give to Mary Cée. So, what do you think?

An Artistic Collaboration

What i love about the internet is that one gets to meet tons of talented people. Some examples: Lu  or Steph  & her wonderful ethnic jewelry, miss Trop & Lilfairy, Clarity, Nziem, cAro & Aby... and there are sooooo many more! This leads to exchanges and collaborations of all sorts, like this one. Dine has one of her quirky line drawings  on her blog and anyone can have a go at colorising it. Here is my take. I also modified her drawing (with her permission) just a little bit, to inject a bit of me into it. You can  see her version here and participate if you want. I had loads of fun doing this, it's different from what I usually do, but I like it, and I hope that Dine will like it too.

Day Eight

{21} Challenge

This challenge is giving me more than just the satisfaction of reaching my goals, it's also giving me a chance to meet some really talented people. I was so touched to read on Em's blog that my work sends shivers and thrills down her spine, I love Em's work so reading those words made me feel... good. This challenge is helping me regain confidence in my work and myself... A big thank you to all whom stop by and leave a few encouraging words, comments or suggestions. To my silent readers, thank you also, don't hesitate to leave a little comment, I won't bite ;-)

Ce défi me donne davantage que juste la satisfaction d'atteindre mes buts, il me donne également une chance de rencontrer quelques personnes vraiment douées. J'ai été touché de lire sur le blog d'Em qu'elle aime mon travail, en tant que fan d'Em, ça ne peut que faire plaisir! Ce défi m'aide à regagner confiance en mon travail et moi-même... Un grand merci à vous tous qui laissent quelques mots, commentaires ou suggestions. À mes lecteurs silencieux, merci également, n'hésitez pas à laisser un p'tit mot, je jure que je mords pas ; -)
